Join HBN for an Idea Party that Will Spark New Ways to Meet Business Challenges

Join the Homebased Businesswomen’s Network, Inc. (HBN) at 6:45 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at the Peabody Institute Library of Danvers, 15 Sylvan Street, Danvers, MA, for an “idea party” that’s sure to spark creative thinking about solving your biggest business challenge. HBN invites members and guests to enjoy this informative evening program with networking opportunities.

The “idea party” format adds an energizing twist to HBN’s popular annual problem-solving roundtable. Bring your biggest business challenge, phrased as a question. Meeting attendees will pair up and have two minutes each to brainstorm and share ideas about how their partner can meet their challenge. Then everyone switches partners, much as in speed networking, continuing until they’ve generated ideas with as many others in the room as possible. This brainstorming exercise helps you think differently, without self-editing the ideas you give to others, and without being negative about the ideas others generate for you. Come ready to be creative and open, and bring plenty of business cards to swap with your idea partners.

The meeting will be held downstairs in the Gordon Room in the Danvers Public Library. All members and non-member business professionals are welcome. No pre-registration is required for this meeting. Admission fee is $10 for guests, payable at the door; no meeting fee for HBN members. Coffee and light refreshments available.
